Frequently Asked Questions

"Our 3 most common asked questions with detailed answers

written by the person who actually does the work "

Question 1: How do you clear my property without damage to surrounding areas ?

We have follow a set process to avoid damage to surrounding areas. Before any equipment is used we identify the best access points , best procedures, what type of equipment we will use and how to manage the process so we are only working in a selected area . A lot of the initial work is done by hand trimming branches with a chainsaw and minimising disturbance to native trees when moving machinery between areas

Question 2: How can I reduce a bushfire risk without removing all the trees ?

This is a process called "selective reduction" we identify how a bushfire will behave and reduce the associated risk . The most common practice is to remove dead and fallen trees, this reduces the fuel load on the ground , depending on the property we may then select any dead or dangerous trees that will fall and drop fuel , these are removed leaving your property still looking and feeling like a bush retreat but significantly reducing the fuel and minimising the risk of a serious fire

Question 3: Can you help with council permits & orders ?

Yes, if your having difficulty with a council issued permit or order send it through to us and we will assist you with the process.
